Cosmetic Bags More Important Than the Cosmetics?

This year my daughter will be getting a couple very cute cosmetic bags for Christmas. She loves Victoria’s Secret and uses the paper bags from the store that are used to put purchases in to keep her ever growing collection of make up in until very recently when tragedy struck and our family cat, Chase shredded them!

Up until that moment I had assumed that anything that could hold the assortment of the ever growing collection of colorful face icings would be greeted with thanks and appreciation so I brought my daughter an old straw purse with the cutest fabric lining to help clean up the cosmetic spill.

My daughter was horrified when she saw what I was proposing and said she would rather use a trash bag! Upon further investigation into the rejection I just had faced I have learned that the younger girls are very in tune to what holds there make up is as important as the cosmetics themselves.

I was further educated and discovered that Victoria’s Secret has a large assortment of acceptable, cute bags specifically designed to hold massive amounts of beauty items that would be allowed in her room.

Ulta Cosmetics store also carries several brands of cosmetic bags that are fun and funky for young girls today. With that lesson learned it has given me the opportunity for a Christmas gift that I would not have thought of on my own!

There are many reasons to take a bath but my favorite reason above all is for absolutely no reason at all.

You may be thinking that my statement does not make sense but take a moment to think about it this way. After a long stressful day you fill your bath tub with nice warm fragrant water, light a few candles and sit back enjoy some music and a cup of tea or glass of wine as you are enveloped in the sweet-scented, sudsy warmth.

Kids these days do not even begin to know how lucky they are!

If you are my age you will know what I mean when I say that children today are escaping from the wrath of angry parents for using the mystery guest towels!

In my home growing up I shared a bathroom with 3 sisters and 2 brothers with one towel bar dedicated to 6 bath towels that looked like they had been through a war! Possibly from how old they looked it may have been World War One!

Now why would we share one towel bar you may ask? It really didn’t take therapy to figure out that today we can afford to let our children enjoy the best made towels because we have so many more choices for our families and the prices reflect everyday living.

The selection of Bath sets is as endless as it is beautiful. Kohl’s has incredible sales where you can buy enough towels to pass on to your children’s children! The colors and grades of cotton that are on the market now make it so we beg our children to give us an excuse to buy that new set of plush designer towels!

The other day right after therapy I rushed in to J.C. Penney and began grabbing up all of their most luxurious Egyptian cotton towel sets at bargain prices when all of a sudden it just hit me, what a great time to be a kid !
