One of the newest trends is mineral cosmetics. I doubt there are many women who have not heard of Bare Minerals the hottest cosmetics on the market today!

This new fad is being driven by the growing awareness of living a more natural and healthy life style and becoming more environmentally friendly in our existence.

All areas of the market place are jumping on board with these sentiments so it is really no surprise that the cosmetics industry is joining in on the movement but is it really a better product and thus a better choice of cosmetics for us?

Supporters are generally those that need minimal coverage. Mineral cosmetics are sheer and good for sensitive and dry skin types but as I mentioned if you are looking for coverage for acne this will not make you happy.

I am hearing all kinds of support in favor of the more natural make ups made with minerals because they are not made from a talc base but there is still no proof positive if talc is bad for you so until then I am not able to say for sure until the tests come back as conclusive.
